Zemětřesení v Itálii nebrání cestovnímu ruchu

There are no restrictions for visitors on the Adriatic Coast of Emilia Romagna. The earthquake, which hit Northern Italy, Tuesday morning, did not affect the Adriatic coastal areas of the region. Flights, motorways and trains are running normally. No damages have been caused to any touristic facilities whatsoever, so that hotels, restaurants, beach clubs, bars, etc are fully operational from Po Delta to Cattolica. The Italian Tourism Ministry opened a tourist emergency line +39 039 039 039 (at cost of a local call) to receive all the tourist infos and assistance needed in English and other foreign languages.

Geologists expect aftershocks for at least 2 weeks, Via Emilia (Main road number 9) is open (was temporarily closed yesterday only in the city centre of Modena for checking). Regular flights, trains are working with minors delays. The coast and the southern part of the region were not affected and hotels in the area of Ravenna and Rimini are already offered the availability to host evacuees. After a check there is no damage to all public buildings in Ferrara. In Mirandola (epicentre of the earthquake) experts have checked the buildings and declared the majors damages affected only the public buildings, private homes are fine. Bologna: the two towers have been checked no damages have been detected. Virtually all private homes are ok. Forlì Cesena: local public administration declared no damages have been detected. Rimini: local public administration declared no damages have been detected.
