The Salzburger Sportwelt nestles between the Gosaukamm, Dachstein and Niedere Tauern mountain ranges and is considered one of the best and most versatile mountain bike and E-MTB regions in the Alps. On the approximately 500 kilometres of well-signposted MTB and E-MTB trails of all levels of difficulty, bikers not only reach idyllic alpine pastures, but also exposed peaks of the Salzburger Sportwelt. For example, the Hochgründeck or the Rossbrand, one of the most spectacular panoramic mountains in the Eastern Alps. The diverse alpine pasture and enjoyment tours in all the towns of the Salzburger Sportwelt, such as to the idyllic Jägersee lake or to the source of the Enns river, also open up fantastic panoramas. Head high up to the Sulzenalmen at the foot of the jagged Gosaukamm, to the Marbachalmen (a real insider tip!) or on the new 20-kilometre Täublwandrunde in Wagrain. Stoneman Taurista as a challenge for MTB or E-MTB

The "Stoneman Taurista by Roland Stauder powered by BIKE 24" is the crowning glory of the MTB and E-MTB offer in the Salzburger Sportwelt: 136 kilometres and 4,500 metres of altitude have to be mastered - by mountain bike or E-MTB. The mountains become a sparring partner for fitness, endurance and performance. If you want to test your own limits, feel every fibre of your body and prove your mental strength, this sporting challenge is the right choice for you. The starting points for the "Stoneman Taurista" in the Salzburger Sportwelt are Flachau, Filzmoos, Wagrain-Kleinarl, Altenmarkt-Zauchensee and Radstadt. The round tour in front of the gigantic panorama of the Tauern massif can be completed in one, two or three days: more than half of the routes are gravel paths, another third asphalt roads, a small proportion single trails.
