The 5th edition of the Nendaz Backcountry Invitational took place this Sunday, January 12, 2025, in the Plan du Fou / Siviez - Nendaz area. The competition, which saw a selection of the world's best freeriders and freestylers compete, was broadcast live.

With the recent snowfalls providing beautiful powder, the sunshine and the excellent level of the participants, the show was guaranteed! It was an exceptional day, with crazy sporting performances and a very friendly, festive atmosphere in the finish area.

In men's skiing, Germany's Tiemo Rolshoven, 2nd in the FWT Challenger in 2024 and a newcomer to the Freeride World Tour, won the competition ahead of promising 19-year-old Englishman Jake Müller and Austrian freestyler Sebastian Mall. In women's skiing, it was the three Freeride World Tour Challenger riders Mila Delerue (FRA), Astrid Cheylus (FRA) and Eva Battolla (SUI) who took the podium.
