A thrilling stage, in front of a huge crowd that filled the arena, while thousands of fans followed the action live on Rai Sport. The show was on from the very first moments. The qualifying rounds were intense: reigning champion Brooke Raboutou and an outstanding Filip Schenk attacked the walls, setting the fastest times and sending a very clear challenge to all their rivals.
Czech star Adam Ondra flew into the semi-finals together with an unstoppable Schenk, Switzerland’s Sascha Lehmann and Germany’s Yannick Flohé.
In the semi-final, Schenk came close to perfection. His pace against Lehmann was ruthless, the Italian calmly hitting the top button and flying straight into the final. On the other side, Ondra and Flohé delivered a fierce head-to-head, a high-tension battle that the Czech climber resolved with a champion’s move on the impressive 25-metre structure. The fight for third place went to a photo finish: Flohé took the podium from Lehmann by just one tenth of a second.
As twelve months ago, history offered the same final once again: Adam Ondra against Filip Schenk. But this time, the result was one for the books. Ondra hesitated for a moment on the first holds, losing vital fractions of a second. The duel, however, remained fierce, with the two climbers rising side by side, hold after hold, in a breathless head-to-head all the way to the final metres. That was when Schenk produced the magic: one decisive surge, the climb completed, and the rematch he had waited a whole year for was finally his. For the climber from Val Gardena, it was a second Rock Master triumph, earned by defeating an absolute giant of the sport.

The women’s competition was just as intense. A demanding route saw Austria’s Jessica Pilz advance towards the final showdown against her long-time rival, Brooke Raboutou from the United States. A stellar duel between two Olympic icons. They climbed locked together, level until the fierce wave section, where the drama unfolded in a fraction of a second: Raboutou’s left foot slipped. A tiny mistake, but a decisive one. Jessica Pilz seized the moment, completed the route and claimed her third historic victory in Arco.
